As noted in the Minutes of the Babraham Parish Council Meeting on 11 October, 2018, the Council voted unanimously to oppose the H/1:b development and to prepare a response to the Application.

Babraham are now moving forward with the Neighbourhood Plan and this is the area we will be looking at – the Parish Boundary. If you would like more information or would like to be part of developing the plan, contact Parish Councillor Rob Attwood at email@example.com.
There will be a meeting of the A1307 Local Liaison Forum at Sawston Village College on Tuesday 26th September at 6pm. The various ideas for improving the road, including a proposed Park and Ride in the local area, and improved links to Cambridge, will be discussed. Members of the public are welcome. Babraham Parish Councillors will also be in attendance.

The Parish Council are pleased to announce that we have successfully applied to the Local Highways Initiative for funding to perform various work on the junction of High Street and the A1307. We have been awarded £7,000 that will go towards the work which will include much improved pedestrian access between the far side of the road and the village, and improvements to the bus shelters on both sides.
The new cycle path was opened through the Babraham Research Campus on the 3rd February. This will allow cyclists and other users to safely link with the cycle path along the A1307 with other local paths towards Sawston, Abington and … Continue reading
The proposed solar farm situated on land between Babraham and Sawston has been refused at planning level, appealed and refused again so will not proceed.
